![]() ![]() ![]() Every single tiny act of evil you've ever experienced or acted upon. Y'know, the fella gets extra fear points for a reason: we made him. The music just makes you feel all alone inside an alien world that's really the collective unconscious. How about the Xibalba? You have this spacecraft filled with nothing but vile monsters, aliens, and the darkest truths about the whole adventure you've taken so far.And let's not even get started on his persona. And Eternal Punishment's serial-killer JOKER wears a bloody paper bag over his head with drawn-on features (including a hole where another eye should be) and a huge wicked smile that is Nightmare Fuel all by itself. Innocent Sin's Joker sports a cruel smile that makes your skin crawl, and it's especially unsettling that this Joker is really an emotionally and mentally tortured Jun Kurosu, who is in turn being controlled by the real Man Behind the Man, who has taken the form of Jun's dead father. New soundtrack composed by shoji meguro in the style of the post P3 games (like the P1 PSP OST), well, im not saying this because i dont like the OSTs (i like them) but seeing the masterpiece of a soundtrack he made when tasked with making a brand new OST for P1.As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. EP should give Jun a Seven Sisters uniform since him still having a Kasugayama one is a bit of a plothole. I think it'd be nice if it played in the fight against him in the main game of EP as well. Brink of Death, the boss theme from P1, is used for the fight against Kandori in Tatsuya's Scenario. Obviously having both parts localized in tandem would be nice. I guess you could add a bit of rap over some of the battle music (with the option to toggle to older versions of the music remaining). But all this is just undoing stuff from the otherwise solid PSP remakes. I'd like to have the swastika floor back for Hitler's fight and his name uncensored (the sunglasses stay tho). I heard there's time efficiency issues in the PSP UI compared to the PS1 UI, even tho it's way more stylish (the PS1 UI is horrendously dated from a visual standpoint). In terms of more direct remakes of IS and EP.honestly is there really anything that needs changing? Restoring the PS1 difficulty in place of the nerfed PSP difficulty would be nice. Joker would be a major villain but when you unmask him it's someone different than in IS, for example. After all, this isn't just some new game, it's supposed to be a new take on an old one, so stay true to that. Really tho, I think it should follow a lot of the same plot beats and even retain a lot of the dialog. You could really go nuts because at the end of the day the original games are still right there bundled in. Oh and while we're at it can we have a Persona 2: Repentant Atonement where you play as Jun? That'd be neat.Īnyway, I think you could do some really cool things with this weird requel like have the Grand Cross as an actual scheduled event on the calendar (conveniently halfway thru the year, actually) and having zodiac themed monthly bosses. ![]() ![]() The catch would be that the ending is altered to make this new P2 yet another timeline after another reset. Then alongside that you have alternate modes that are faithful remakes of IS and EP like how The Answer exists as its own thing within P3F. My solution? Make a brand new game with a new Fool protag, calendar, and social links.but in Sumaru City, 1999, with all the party members taken from IS and EP and maybe a few additions (I would go nuts for a playable Ixquic). Basically, my conclusion was that while there might be sort of enough room if you squint to fit P1 into the modern formula, it just does not work on any level with P2. I actually have an elaborate idea for what is ostensibly a remake of P2 but in reality is more like a remake bundled with a new game. ![]()
